Green Lemony Sorrel Smoothie
1 ripe mango
1 cup chopped pineapple
A big bunch of sorrels
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
A few ice cubes
Blend everything together and enjoy this refreshing and healthy smoothie!
Serves 1-2
*DaNae's Note: Thank you, Monika, for sharing your smoothie recipe with my readers and me. I have not used sorrel in my smoothies yet, but I'll have to keep an eye out for some sorrel to try in one of my future smoothies. I just want others to know that they shouldn't use sorrel on a regular basis, as it contains oxalic acid. But it is always good to rotate and vary the greens in the smoothies anyways. Thanks again!
