I've found that I'm intolerant to coconut milk. I've tried quite a few of your smoothie recipes with coconut milk a few months ago. After a few days I noticed my stomach started reacting to it, as it does with cow milk.
In case I was wrong and to be sure, I left a gap of about 6 wks and tried it again today - it's left me with the same syptoms; bloated, gurgley, uncomfortable and 'windy!'
My usual intake of milk is always and only soya. I avoid all other dairy due to the same reaction.
Can you please give me any advice? I'd greatly appreciate it.
Best regards,
Sam

Sam,
I have never heard of someone allergic or intolerant to coconut milk. But I guess there must be a small percentage that can't digest coconut.
You can probably substitute your soya milk for the coconut milk in the smoothie recipes. My preference over soy milk is using nuts and water to make a creamy nut milk.
For example, you need 1 cup of milk for the recipe... Add 1 cup of water with a small handful of almonds or cashews. Blend until smooth. Then add the rest of the ingredients.
I hope that this helps!
Happy Blending!
