You will love the unique flavor of a melon smoothie, if you like the juicy flavor of a cantaloupe, honeydew, and watermelon.
Personally, it took some time for me to stretch outside of my comfort zone of using the most popular smoothie ingredients, such as strawberries and blueberries. One Saturday morning, I decided to blend up something different. I am so glad that I did try something new.
I had a half of a cantaloupe in my fridge. So I made a smoothie. I made the Orange Cantaloupe Smoothie. Boy... was I surprised on how great it tasted. I actually wanted more!
I decided that I needed to try another recipe for a cantaloupe smoothie. So I created Strawberry Cantaloupe Smoothie. Another fabulous smoothie!
One key to creating the best smoothie with your melons is to use fully ripened and juicy melons. This way you can use as little liquid as possible. That means more flavor in your healthy smoothie recipe!
So be creative and have fun with your melons!
