The Swamp Smoothie
1 cup of pineapple orange juice (or if you have a Whole Foods nearby, try the 365 juice brand which has a blend of pineapple, orange, and banana)
1 teaspoon of Hawaiian Pacifica Spirulina
1/2 of the juice from squeezed lemon or lime
2 scrapes of zest from the lemon or lime skin
3 strawberries
1/2 of a cucumber
4 collard green leaves (with stems stripped from them)
Add the juice, spirulina, lemon or lime juice and zest, strawberries, cucumber, and collard greens into the blender. Blend until everything is smooth.
*DaNae's Note: Stephanie, thank you for submitting your smoothie recipe. It definitely has a lot of healthy ingredients added. I haven't used much cucumber in my green smoothies. I'll have to try that in the future. Thanks again for taking the time to share your recipe with us!
