Breakfast Kale Smoothie
6 kale leaves
Generous handful of spinach
2 large pineapple spears
2 tangelos
TBS + of coconut oil (TJ's is good, it actually tastes like coconut)
And top it off with water til the liquid fills the blender halfway
Some fun changes and additions...
Coconut milk instead of water or sparkling water(idk I'm just obsessed with it)
Add frozen mango or just ice
Add coconut butter
This is my go to everyday smoothie, I usually tweak it differently everyday, it's always delicious ... My 15 month old son drinks it with me everyday and loves it.
You could always add more greens too.

Four large leaves of Lacinato kale (black kale) including stems
equal amount of organic Spinach
1/2 to 1 banana
5 - 8 strawberries
1 Mint leave
1 organic pitted date
Spring water
Increase each ingredient depending desired end quantity.
I HAVE ANOTHER ONE BUT IT IS A LACINATO KALE SALAD:
Tear off leaves from the stems off the Lacinato kale, shred into small pieces by hand and put into a bowl, add juice of 1/2 to 1 lemon, add a bit of organic Celtic sea salt, massage kale till soft than add a good handful of Thompson Okanagan raisins, one peeled and diced organic apple, drizzle a bit of sesame oil, toss salad and serve.
*DaNae's Note: Thank you for taking the time to share your delicious kale smoothie and salad recipes. I do appreciate it! I'm sure that the mint leaf adds an unique twist of flavor.
