Thank you for your smoothie recipe! I think this is the first recipe to list baby food as an ingredient on my website. I dig it. It is basically like healthy applesauce.
Thank you for sharing!
Happy Blending!

Pineapple Banazia

by Eleanor
(Kingsdon, Somerton, Somerset)

Pineapple Banazia

1 banana
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 a spoon of honey
6 blueberries or grapes
2 scoopes of vanilla if you like

This will serve 2 people. If you want four people just double it.

My tip for a good smoothie is to push the blender power button on and off for about 30 seconds.

Tropical Mint Smoothie

by Jessi

I like to make life easier, since Monday to Friday is very busy for me. So I use Zip Lock Bags and fill each of them with what ever frozen fruits I want in my smoothie. Then I add the Tofu and even the Hemp Seeds and then freeze them.

This way when I want a smoothie I just take out a bag and add the Milk/Juice and whip it up. A person can even put the scoop of frozen yogurt in the bag. I will be doing up a week's worth this weekend. Just label the bag on what type of smoothie it is to be and you are done. Now you have all the time in the world for the work week. Neat hey!!

Tropical Mint Smoothie

1 cup Almond Milk
1/2 cup Coconut Milk
1/2 tsp Coconut Cream
1 Section (150gr) Peach Mango Tofu (new addition)**
1 banana, frozen*
5 - 6 chopped mint leaves
5 - 6 whole strawberries
1 scoop frozen vanilla yogurt
1/2 tsp peppermint extract (I use Watkins which are the best)
5 tbsp. of Shelled Hemp

Drop all of the ingredients in the blender and blend away!

Makes two very refreshing servings!

This kept me going until around 1pm. It was wonderful.

*I cut the banana up into chucks (it is hard to chop in the blender if cut only in halves) Then I put them in snack zip lock bags so it is one banana each bag.

**If you can't fine flavored Tofu, use plain silky. Tofu absorbs flavors very easily. All you need to do it get some fresh fruit and squeeze the juice on top of the tofu (in a container with lid). Let it sit for about an hour or two then mix in the meat of the fruit and put in blender. It is the same thing. I use the flavored because this time of year fruit is very expensive and hard to come by. As long as you use the silky you will be fine. Good Luck
