I don't use a measuring cup. So, this is just eyeballing.
Chocolate Strawberry Kale Smoothie
about a cup of frozen strawberries
1/2 banana
a cup of kale (mine is frozen)
1 - 2 teaspoon of pure cacao powder
about a 1/2 cup (more if too dry) of almond milk or any other type of non-dairy milk
Blend or Vitamix until smooth. If you want a colder drink, place it in freezer for about 30 minutes. Enjoy!
*DaNae's Note: Thank you for sharing your recipe with us. I have been adding raw cacao to my green smoothies quite a bit lately. It really makes the smoothie more into a dessert. :) Can't go wrong there! I will have to try the combination of the strawberries and chocolate. Sounds down right yummy! Thanks again!
